Unlocking Learning Potential and Building the Foundation for Lifelong Academic Growth
The Elementary School Program at Life Prep Academy is designed based on the principles of U.S. education, focusing on the comprehensive development of students’ knowledge, skills, and character from the earliest years of learning.
The school utilizes licensed curriculum materials from BJU Press (Bob Jones University Press), one of the widely used educational publishing systems in the United States. The curriculum is structured according to students’ developmental stages and aligned with U.S. academic standards, providing a progressive learning pathway that supports both academic achievement and personal growth.
The program follows the principle of Developmentally Appropriate Learning, where new concepts are introduced through engaging, visual, and age-appropriate approaches. Each learning stage builds upon previous knowledge, allowing students to develop strong foundations before advancing to more complex concepts. Learning is not limited to memorization; students are encouraged to understand concepts deeply, apply knowledge to real-world situations, and develop a genuine passion for learning.
Beyond academic development, Life Prep Academy places strong emphasis on essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, self-management, and independent learning. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, conduct research, and express their perspectives through active learning activities, projects, group discussions, and hands-on experiences.
